Bio: Dr Seifudein Adem joined Binghamton University in 2006. He has more than two decades of teaching and research experiences in Africa, Japan and the United States. As of June 2013, he has published 8 books, 16 book chapters, 28 academic articles and 14 book reviews; and he has delivered more than 50 invited lectures/conference presentations in the United States and abroad. Seifudein Adem's research and academic interests have crisscrossed at least the following disciplines: International Relations, International Political Economy, area studies (Africa and Asia), comparative culture, sociology of knowledge, political theory and global governance. He is also the intellectual biographer of Professor Ali A. Mazrui.[/expand]
