Bio: Linn recently completed her PhD, entitled Making borders: Engaging the threat of Chinese textiles in Ghana, at Stockholm University. Her research focuses on the global circulation of people, goods, and policy. She is particularly interested in how these flows are regulated by state and non-state actors through processes of bordering. She has explored this in diverse contexts including the textile trade in Ghana and labor migration to the UK and Sweden. Her current research project is on labor migrant management through strategies of bordering—a comparative study of Sweden and the United Kingdom.
